The Process

The Process

You’ve decided that you would like to buy a new Greene Home. What do you do next? To assist you through the process of buying a new home, we have created a list of what to expect. Throughout the process if you have any questions, please contact our office or our sales staff.

Choose A Floor plan & New Home site

To assist you in finding a floor plan to suit your needs, we have developed many bungalow & two storey plans. And if you still can't find a plan to specifically fit your needs we can modify one of our existing plans, or try to develop something new based on an idea you have. We will do our best to accommodate you. We will work with you to try and make your dreams a reality.

Once you have chosen a floor plan, the next step is to contact your real estate agent. If you do not yet have a realtor, please feel free to contact Holly Henderson at Re/Max Realty Concepts Corp. or John Price at Sutton Group Masters Realty. Your realtor can assist you in choosing the perfect home site in our subdivision for your new home.

Purchase Your New Home

Once you have established your realtor, they will work with you to write an offer. This offer is very specific to new home construction. It contains an immense amount of data concerning your new home, the warranty that is involved, the brochure plans, the specifications, and of course, the offer itself. We encourage you to read through this offer carefully with your realtor and your lawyer.

Select Your Finishes

Once the offer has been written, and any conditions have been removed, before we begin your home, the selection process begins. At this point you will have the opportunity (if scheduling allows) to make any floor plan changes as well as any colour choices. While doing your selections, if there is something you would like installed in your home, just ask, and we will contact our suppliers for availability.
On the typical home you would choose the following from our samples:
Brick or Stone colours
Siding colours
Shingles colours
Paint colours
Vinyl Flooring colours

Kitchen and bathroom cabinetry colours and styles
Kitchen and bathroom countertops colours
